Protect Your Family With Blast Valves for Bomb Shelters
To ensure that your family is protected no matter what catastrophic events unfold outside, you need to build a secure underground shelter. In doing so, your family and prized possessions will be safe in the event of nuclear, biological or chemical attacks.
The most secure bunkers include blast valves. These valves help ensure that the quality of the air inside your shelter isn’t compromised by radioactivity or other contaminated air. After all, what good is a shelter if poisonous gas can infiltrate it?
Blast valves are placed in intake and exhaust pipes. Following an explosion or sudden change in air pressure, the valves will close automatically, keeping the pressure from those explosions on the outside.
Find Blast Valves You Can Rely On
Bee Safe Security, Inc. is proud to offer the following blast valves for your underground shelter:
UeV/ESV 1 bar — Tested by the Armament Technology and Procurement Group of Switzerland, Lunor blast valves are used to prevent the destructive aftermath of explosions from compromising the air quality in your shelter. The valve’s casing and wall frame are made from hot galvanized steel, and its shutting device is made of stainless steel. The Lunor UeV/ESV also serves as an overpressure valve. SB-100 Sanitation Blast Valve — Once wake waves and their accompanying contaminated air enter your shelter’s ventilation system, this blast valve will close in a fraction of a second. As a result, only a harmless amount of energy can get inside. The SB-100 works in two directions: against outside pressure getting into the shelter and against the wake wave moving in the opposite direction. The valve is normally open to ensure better ventilation.
